How do I make Yahoo Answers stop e-mailling me every time my answer is chosen as best?
Q. My e-mail box keeps getting spam with junks mails from Yahoo Answer everytime I get a Best Answer. Is there a specific option in Yahoo Answer that allows you to not receive e-mail each times you get a Best Answer? Or I have no other choice than to a create a mail filters for their e-mails?
Asked by Deborah - Tue Jun 30 02:14:10 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. We can't opt out of Best Answer emails, only emails telling us that we received an answer to our question. Go to My Profile, click Edit My Info. Then go to Yahoo Answers Network, and see if you find it there, anywhere on that page. If you do, click it, scroll to and click Preview, then ok.

How do you stop yahoo answers from categorizing your questions for you?
Q. I asked a tennis question and yahoo suggested asking it in the gay, bisexual, and transsexual category. A lot of my questions almost get moved from the category I selected to ones that are completely off the wall. Is there a way to not have yahoo suggest categories?
Asked by Tommy - Sun Jul 5 18:48:12 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You can click on categories on the top of the box, and then select the category yourself.
