What does eZula installation mean?
Q. I have a small icon at the bottom of my screen, when i put my mouse over it it says eZula installation, can't seem to get rid of it. Any ideas?

A. This is spyware- do not attempt to install it- Use Adaware SE to scan Use AVG to scan in case it is a virus Go into add/remove programs as a last resort and select it from a list to remove it. If the icon is on your task bar right click on the taskbar and customize to remove Hoep that helps you

A. 1.See if you have stub.exe or ezstub.exe on your system. Do a search on you hard drive for 'stub.exe ezstub.exe'. You'll find it in Windows' System or System32 folder. ezstub.exe can be found in the Program Files folder. If there's no file like that, about 52K in size, you don't have the downloader/installer. (Some may find a 'stub.exe' in the CuteFTP folder - don't delete that one!) 2.Open a command prompt (aka DOS window) and go to the directory stub.exe or ezstub.exe is in. 3.Type this (hit enter at the end of each line): 4.stub.exe -UnregServer del stub.exe Or if you found ezstub.exe: ezstub.exe -UnregServer del ezstub.exe The most vicious eZula component is now removed from your system.

Q. i need to remove this Ezula adware. i have yahoo! Anti Spy but it won't let me delete it.

A. Download Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, HiJackThis, and Avira Antivir. Restart the computer in Safe Mode (start tapping F8 as soon as the computer starts to boot up, then choose Safe Mode with Networking). Install the software. I'm assuming you don't have other AV software, but if you do, it's probably a good idea to uninstall that and install Avira Antivir, because obviously the last one wasn't up to the task of keeping you clean. After installing, make sure to update the software to get the latest definitions (this is why we chose Safe Mode with Networking). Attempt to run the software from Safe Mode. You may have to restart the computer to complete installations. If you do, just go back into Safe Mode. Run what software you… [cont.]
